Workers are striking at three French LNG terminals operated by GDF Suez.

Work has stopped at Fos Tonkin and Fos Cavaou near Marseille, and an LNG carrier set to arrive at Montoir will not be unloaded, according to Bloomberg.

The CGT union has claimed the strikes are salary related.

GDF Suez’s French terminal operating arm Elengy confirmed the strikes.

"We don’t receive LNG tankers for the moment," said an Elengy spokeswoman.
