Engineer SMM has completed its share of an expansion project at Portugal’s Sines LNG terminal.
The Portuguese company, working for main contractors TGE Gas Engineering and Somague, was responsible for mechanical erection of a 150,000 cubic-metre storage tank (pictured).
SMM’s €19 million ($23.8 million) contract also involved process piping and other equipment.
The company completed the job in 32 months, one month ahead of schedule.
