Singapore LNG has completed engineering work on the main facilities at its import terminal under construction on Jurong Island.
The developer said attaining the milestone means it is ahead of schedule on the project.
Work on the third storage tank is also progressing faster than expected. The first layer of the concrete roof has been poured and installation of the vapour barrier is under way.
The focus in the coming months will be on LNG tank hydrostatic testing, piping and cable installation.
