Singapore LNG is in the final stages of construction of phase one of its import terminal (illustrated) on Jurong Island.

Hydrotesting of tanks one and two has started and all key civil engineering works will be finished by the end of this month.

Progress on the third LNG tank is ahead of schedule and piling works for both jetties and quay at the secondary berth are “progressing well”, the company added.

“SLNG is well placed to complete the LNG terminal ready for operational start-up by the second quarter of 2013,” the operator said.
