Portuguese power provider REN Atlantico is set to bring an expanded Sines LNG terminal (pictured) online in the second quarter.
The company is wrapping up work on the booster project, which will lift nominal capacity to 8 billion cubic metres per annum from 5.26 Bcma.
Contractors Somague and TGE Gas Engineering have built a 150,000 cubic-metre tank to add to the plant’s two existing 120,000 cubic-metre units.
