Portugal’s REN Atlantico has put the finishing touches to expanded facilities at its Sines LNG terminal on the country’s southern coast.
Acceptance testing has begun on a new storage tank, the only remaining element of the project yet to go into operation.
If gas grid and terminal operator REN approves the work it will declare official completion sometime next month, said a spokesman.
