Jamaica has completed its review of LNG supply bids with Shell rumoured to be the preferred candidate.
The Cabinet’s LNG Steering Committee said it has “arrived at some conclusions such as which of the two LNG supply bids was rated higher”, according to chairman Carlton Davis.
Anglo-Dutch supermajor Shell and global financial services giant Morgan Stanley lodged final price bids for the deal to supply Jamaica’s maiden LNG import terminal.
