Samsung C&T Corporation has come out on top in a contest to provide Jamaica’s maiden LNG import terminal infrastructure.
LNG steering committee chairman Carlton Davis said that the South Korean player has emerged as preferred bidder to supply the floating storage and regasification unit for the project.
The company faced competition from Belgium’s Exmar and Sener Ingenieria y Sisternas of Spain in the fight for the FSRU job.
