Italian ministries are expected to approve the long-delayed LNG MedGas import project in Gioia Tauro by year-end.
The green light represents one of two final approvals required before Italy’s MedGas Group and partners Sorgenia and Iride can kick off construction at the 12 billion cubic metres per annum terminal.
First, the ministries of infrastructure, environment and economic development must sign off on the development.
