Progress Energy Resources and its liquefaction ally Petronas aim to kick off a feasibility study into exporting LNG from British Columbia at the beginning of this month.
The Canadian exploration outfit said the detailed study will be carried out internally within the LNG joint venture recently established with the Malaysian oil and gas giant.
“From that will flow all of the regulatory mapping, pre-front-end engineering and design etc,” said Progress marketing vice president Greg Kist.
