Spain’s National Energy Commission has reacted positively to a proposal to build a second LNG terminal at the port of Huelva.
A source at Grupo Villar Mir, which is developing the 4 billion cubic metres per annum facility dubbed Energas, said the regulator has issued conditional approval for third-party access exemption. A formal ruling on what would be a first in Spain is due later this month.
