Hoegh LNG hopes to receive three outstanding permits this year that will allow it to press ahead with its Port Dolphin LNG terminal in Florida.
The developer is expecting approvals from the US Army Corps of Engineers, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, and the US Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, said Hoegh LNG vice-president German Castro.
Port Dolphin is one of the very few remaining US regasification terminal proposals after the shale gas boom shifted the country’s focus from LNG importer to potential exporter.
Hoegh
