Terminal operations remained profitable for three US players despite the slumping imports market.



Southern LNG, the El Paso subsidiary that runs the Elba Island terminal (pictured above), said nine-month earnings rose 13.3% year-on-year to $56 million. Revenues jumped 23.3% in the period to $127 million.



BG Group and Shell are the terminal’s capacity holders.
