Israel Electric Corporation is thought to be sifting approaches from players interested in supplying LNG to the country’s maiden import terminal.
A request for information closed this month on the supply of two to three 130,000-cbm cargoes per month over a six-month period starting from the fourth quarter of 2012.
The cargoes will be imported via a planned LNG regasification vessel connected to a submerged turret loading system in the port of Hadera.
