Indian utility Gail (India) and Oil and Natural Gas Corporation have signed an LNG swap agreement covering volumes at the Dahej import terminal.
Under the terms of the deal, Gail will supply imported LNG to ONGC’s C2 extraction plant in Dahej. Oil and gas multinational ONGC will then, in return, provide an equivalent quantity of domestic gas.
“This will pave the way for commissioning of C2+ extraction plant by ONGC," the Business Standard quotes Gail as saying.
