Woodside Petroleum is targeting the first two quarters of next year to award the major offshore contracts for the mighty Browse LNG project in Australia.
Up for grabs are construction and installation contracts for a giant central processing facility; three deep-water dry tree units; more than 1200 kilometres of subsea umbilicals, risers and flowlines; and a 310-kilometre export pipeline.
The first deal likely to be awarded is for the three tension-leg platforms.
