Morocco has homed in on the port town of Jorf Lasfar to host its maiden LNG import terminal.
An external contractor is still to complete further site tests before the location can be officially finalised, however. The studies are due to wrap up in the next few months, according to developer Akwa Group.
“The location is about 90% chosen,” said an Akwa source.
