Trader Morgan Stanley has extended its charter-hire on an 18-year-old LNG carrier for one year.
The company now has the use of the Arctic Spirit through 2012. The vessel is expected to be employed shipping cargoes into Argentina, the Mediterranean and Asia.
The trader is believed to be sitting on further options to extend on the ship through into 2014.
A rate is understood to have been agreed when the vessel was first fixed in April.
