An MISC-controlled LNG carrier appears to be en route to Malaysia’s maiden LNG import terminal.
Electronic data show the 145,000-cbm Seri Angkasa (built 2006) as due to arrive in Sungai Udang on 10 September. The vessel left the liquefaction facility at Egyptian LNG’s Idku project last week.
Those following the project suggest the shipment could be diverted.
They indicate that the new facility is unlikely to start up until the end of next month.
