Mexico’s Manzanillo LNG terminal is due to receive its commissioning cargo this weekend. The 173,400-cbm Valencia Knutsen (built 2010) is scheduled to dock with a shipment from Peru, ship-tracking data show.

The west coast plant was originally scheduled to kick off commissioning last September but a court ruling put a stop to work to remove a railway bridge across the harbour, blocking cargo traffic.

The 500 million cubic feet per day facility will be supplied by Spain’s Repsol-YPF from its Peru LNG off-take volumes.
