Singapore LNG is about 60% of the way through first-phase development at the city nation’s maiden import terminal.
The project is on target to meet a second-quarter 2013 operation date with crews “transitioning from civil works to mechanical erection”, said a spokeswoman for operator Singapore LNG.
The main structures such as the jetty and the outer walls of the tanks (pictured) are “substantially complete” and pipeline installation is now under way.
