Capital expenditure on LNG facilities is ripe for a post-recession recovery but new forecasts are still showing declines in investment rates over previous estimates.
Consultancy Douglas Westwood reckons spending will reach highs of $26 billion per annum by 2015 with total capex expected to top $93 billion between 2011 and 2015.
These improving figures have been attributed to increased demand, especially in Asia.
