The debate over Morocco’s political future looks to have pushed plans for its maiden LNG import terminal on to the back burner.
The Ministry of Energy was due to take a decision this month on elements such as a site and whether to develop the facility alongside a crude refinery.
However, a source close to the project said that while there has been no formal statement about a delay, it is unlikely any progress will be made until the end of the summer.
