Two new LNG bunkering projects planned for the port of Rotterdam are expected to get the green light this year.
Separate developers are pursuing fuelling initiatives in the port area for inland shipping and smaller short-sea barges.
“One location is still under investigation and the other is more or less fixed,” said Ankie Janssen, who is in charge of gas and power business development at the Port of Rotterdam Authority.
