Italy’s planned floating import terminal off Livorno will not be in operation until the fourth quarter of 2012.
Officials for OLT Offshore LNG Toscana (OLT-O), the developer behind the project, said the revised schedule is now for the unit, the FSRU Toscana, to be in operation by October 2012, some 15 months later than previously detailed.
They insist that this is a clarification of earlier announcements made in Italy.
