Lithuania’s Klaipedos Nafta is said to be seeking LNG supplies from Norway’s Statoil for the country’s maiden import terminal.
Statoil’s Hammerfest LNG export plant, part of the Snohvit gas projet, could supply the planned floating regas project within five days of LNG carriers being loaded, the Lithuanian Energy Ministry told Bloomberg.
The import terminal is due online at the end of 2014.
