Latvian Prime Minister Valdis Dombrovskis has proposed focusing on building a gas pipeline from Poland after Baltic leaders failed to reach an agreement on a joint LNG import terminal.

Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia met last week but could not agree on which country would host an LNG import facility to feed all three nations.

Dombrovskis proposed developing a pipeline to Vilnius, Lithuania’s capital, running from near the Polskie LNG terminal.
