Korea Gas Corporation has stumped up 553.7 billion South Korean won ($483 million) for the construction of the last tranche of storage tanks at its huge Samcheok import terminal project.
The developer said the investment will go into effect this month and will cover the period up to May 2017, according to a regulatory filing.
Kogas’ three 270,000-kilolitre LNG storage tanks will add to nine other units being built for the east coast project.
