Korea Gas Technology has expressed interest in building an LNG terminal in Romania.
The arm of government-controlled Kogas has estimated that a 4 billion cubic metres per annum regasification facility could cost €5 billion ($6.75 billion), according to a Reuters report.
The Azerbaijan-Georgia-Romania Interconnector (AGRI) project involves delivering Azeri gas to Europe via a liquefaction plant in Georgia and an import terminal in Romania, opening the Black Sea to the LNG trade.
