India’s Petronet LNG has revealed a pushback inthe startup of its Kochi import facility.
The terminal operator’s managing director, AK Balyan, said commissioning of the regasification plant is likely to begin in November or December.
“Completion of the Kochi LNG terminal is on track andsatisfactory,” he said in an Economic Times report. “Very elaborate safetyrequirements have to be taken.”
Balyan had previously said that commissioning would take place in July, with operations to begin in October.
