India’s Petronet LNG will be able to operateits Kochi import terminal under construction in the south at just a fraction ofits capacity in its first year as a result of pipeline project delays.
Transmission giant Gail (India) has pushed back start-up of itspipeline from Kochi to the cities of Mangalore and Bangalore by six months.
That means commissioning of the line is now expected in December2013, said analysts recently briefed by Petronet management.
