Kenya terminal tender by year-end

Mott MacDonald has prepared a tender for Kenya’s maiden LNG import terminal after solving contractual problems with the government.

Kenya’s permanent secretary in the Ministry of Energy Patrick Nyoike has just returned from meetings in London with the contractor where “there was some resolution” to the issues, explained a project source.

“I think Mott MacDonald has now prepared the concession documents and we are expecting to see some terms of reference from them before the end of this week.”
