Jamaica is stretching out the tender process for its maiden LNG import terminal as the Caribbean island nation looks to secure the best possible bids.



A 1 November deadline for LNG supply offers has been pushed back to 11 November while those competing to provide a floating storage and regasification unit have another six weeks to get their acts together.



FSRU bidders now have until 13 January to submit their documents rather than the 30 November cut-off date originally attached to the process.
