Jamaica has once again pushed back the deadline for bids to provide the country’s maiden LNG import terminal.
The Energy Ministry’s LNG steering committee approved a two-month extension for a request for proposals to end-April.
“This was granted after a couple of the bidding groups requested the extension to complete their joint venture and financing arrangements,” said a source close to the project.
