Jamaica’s government aims to have a final draft of an LNG supply contract for the country’s maiden import terminal ready by the end of the month.

The Cabinet’s LNG Steering Committee this week kicked off a review of comments received about the initial draft document from short-listed supply bidders, which were due in last Friday. “The goal is to have a final draft completed by the end of April so we can include it in the second-stage request for proposals for LNG supply,” said a project source.
