Jamaica has reopened talks with Trinidad & Tobago over LNG supply to its planned floating storage and regasification unit.

The Caribbean neighbours agreed to take another look at a 2004 preliminary supply agreement following discussions between Jamaican Commerce Minister Anthony Hylton and Trinidad Energy Minister Kevin Ramnarine, reported the Go-Jamaica website.

Jamaica plans to open a 1 million tonnes per annum terminal in Port Esquivel by early 2014.
