Government upheaval in Italy has forced Api Nova Energia to play the waiting game once again on a final permit for the Falconara LNG terminal.
The developer was expecting to receive the formal authorisation decree last month from the Ministry of Economic Development that would allow it to begin construction.
“We are still waiting (for the decree) due to the delays connected with the establishment of a new Italian government,” said an Api Nova source.
