Israel has kicked off the next stage in a hunt for LNG cargo suppliers for its maiden regasification terminal.
State-owned Israel Electric Corporation published a request for proposals with the aim of attracting shipments of two cargoes of 130,000 cubic metres each per month for five consecutive months.
The outfit needs the volumes from 1 December this year.
It added that it will have the option of buying a further six cargoes during the year following the end of the basic supply period.
