Mitsui OSK Lines has set up a joint venture with Indonesian shipping company Trada Maritime to own and operate an LNG carrier which will be used to supply the country’s first floating LNG import terminal.



Trada will have a 51% stake in the new joint venture. MOL’s shareholding is listed as a proposed 49%.



In a statement Tuesday, confirming last week’s item in LNG Unlimited, MOL said the partners will own and operate the 126,300-cbm LNG Aquarius (built 1977).
