Tokyo Gas is aiming to bring its Hitachi LNG import terminal online in March 2016.
The Japanese utility said the project will include one LNG storage tank and three LNG/LPG vaporisers.
It will also feature an LPG tank and two LPG vaporisers. The import terminal is planned for Hitachi city.
Meanwhile, Tokyo Gas expects to complete construction of a giant storage tank at the Ohgishima terminal in Yokohama in October 2013.
