India’s Hiranandani Group has signed a preliminary capacity deal with an energy major for its planned LNG import terminal on the west coast.
The developer said it has one firm term sheet under a tolling agreement with “one of the biggest oil and gas companies in the world” covering 3 million tonnes per annum. Hindustan Electricity Generation, which lead’s Mumbai-based Hiranandani Group’s power plans, is overseeing the 8 million tonnes per annum project at Dighi port in Maharashtra.
