Indian refiner Hindustan Petroleum is eyeing a potential LNG import terminal on the country’s east coast.
It has signed a memorandum of understanding with compatriot construction outfit Shapoorji Pallonji to develop the project, managing director S Roy Choudhary told the Daily News and Analysis website.
He said the country is working to home in on a site for the facility but would not disclose its capacity.
