Developer Hess LNG is selling the Weaver’s Cove site once destined to house an LNG import terminal.
A ‘for sale’ sign now hangs on the land in Fall River, Massachusetts, according to The Herald News. Hess abandoned the Weaver’s Cove regasification project last year due to changes in the US natural gas market that made the terminal uneconomic.
The outfit also pulled out of the Crown Landing project in the US recently for similar reasons.
