REN Atlantico’s expanded Sines LNG import terminal in Portugal is ready for business.The company has sent out invitations for a 24 September ceremony to mark the official completion of the booster project.Energy Secretary Artur Trindade, REN president Rui Cartaxo and local authorities of the Port of Sines will be among the officials in attendance.The expansion lifts total storage at Portugal’s lone import facility to 390,000 cubic metres and raises regasification capacity to 8 billion cubic metres per annum from 5.26
