Some 21 companies have expressed interest in carrying out a feasibility study into using a floating storage and regasification unit to bring LNG imports into Ghana.



The list of bidders includes big contracting names such as WorleyParsons, KBR and Foster Wheeler.



Ghana’s state-owned Bulk Oil Storage and Transmission Company (BOST) is overseeing the project on behalf of the Ghana Energy Commission (Grantee), which won a $691,000 grant from the US Trade & Development Agency for the study.
