GDF Suez has cancelled a pair of LNG projects targeting the Florida gas market.
The French gas and power player recently filed a request with US regulators to abandon the Calypso US Pipeline, linking the Florida coast to the maritime boundary with Bahamian waters.
The project was aimed at linking the US mainland either to the Bahamas LNG project, an onshore facility planned for Freeport, or the deep-water Suez Calypso terminal proposed off Florida.
