GDF Suez has withdrawn from the bidding to provide a regasficiation vessel for Argentina’s third LNG import terminal.
The French company, which some had tipped to win the GNL Puerto Cuatreros job, pulled out last week, sources said.
Excelerate Energy is now the only company able to supply a regas vessel to joint developers state energy company Enarsa and Repsol offshoot YPF in time for the planned start-up at the end of next year.
