Gate LNG is actively pursuing a further expansion of Europe’s newest import terminal with plans for construction of a fifth storage tank.
The 12 billion cubic metres per annum facility in Rotterdam, which was officially opened last month, already has permits for a fourth tank to lift capacity to 16 Bcma.
The developers are now backing earlier calls from the Port of Rotterdam for further growth.
