GasAtacama has pushed back the planned start-up of a floating LNG import project.
While the process to select a floating storage and regasification unit provider is continuing, industry sources indicated the Chilean power utility may have reframed the launch date by six to 12 months.
The company previously stated it needed a floating terminal in operation by 2015 and indicated it would select a preferred supplier by end-2011 or in the first quarter of this year.
