Gail (India) has kicked off the commissioning process for Ratnagiri Gas & Power’s Dabhol LNG terminal.
Excelerate Energy provided the cool-down cargo onboard the 138,074-cbm Excelerate (built 2006). The volumes arrived at the terminal on Tuesday.
The company will run the terminal at 2 million tonnes per annum for around 18 months, before lifting capacity to 5 million tpa. Gail later plans to boost Dabhol’s capacity further to 10 million tpa.
